Expectations Rise for Expanding Modular Business Scope from Project Identification to Execution
PLANM, a specialist company in modular construction, signed business agreements on two consecutive days with Sun Engineering & Architecture Group (July 21, 2026) and HEMA Architects & Planners (July 22, 2026) to expand its business scope in the modular sector and strategically enter new business markets.
Since its establishment in 1975, Sun Engineering & Architecture Group has grown into one of Korea's leading architecture firms in the fields of architectural design and construction engineering. It has expanded its business scope to include Construction Management (CM) and is a prominent domestic enterprise boasting over 700 professional technical experts. Representative projects include the Sejong City Library and Gocheok Sky Dome, and it was also awarded the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit in 2017.
Founded in 2003, HEMA Architects & Planners has emerged as a powerhouse in the public procurement sector, executing projects such as the Haenam County Office and the Yangpyeong Mulbit Jeongwon Library.
This agreement holds significant meaning in strengthening mutual exchange and cooperation not only for business collaboration in the modular construction sector but also to secure dominance and a leading position in the domestic market following the government's modular expansion policy.
Furthermore, it is expected to strengthen cooperation in new high-value business sectors such as AI modular data centers, a field of new technology.
